1) Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how MytreHub Team ("MytreHub", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the MytreHub mobile application and related services (the "App"). The App is intended for users ages 17 and older.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the App.

2) Information we collect

We collect the following categories depending on how you use the App and which permissions you grant:

  • Account information (provided by you): name, username, email address.
  • Support content (provided by you): messages you send to us (and attachments you choose to include).
  • Diary/log content (provided by you): photos, flavor notes, café or brewing details, and other entries you save.
  • Automatically collected data: device information, usage analytics, performance metrics, crash logs.
  • Location (optional): precise or approximate location if you grant permission; you can disable anytime in device settings.
  • Cookies / similar technologies (where applicable): used for login and preferences and may include web beacons.

3) Photos and face-related information

  • We do not perform facial recognition and do not collect biometric identifiers to identify you.
  • Photos are stored locally on your device by default unless you choose to upload them for processing or syncing (if available).
  • We do not use your photos for advertising/marketing, and we do not use your uploaded content to train third-party models.

4) Optional upload processing (including AI-assisted features, if available)

Some features may let you optionally upload photos and/or text to our servers to generate results (for example, extracting structured details, summarizing tasting notes, or generating insights). These features are optional and user-controlled.

  • Processed on our own servers: uploaded photos/text are processed under our control (not on third-party AI services).
  • No third-party sharing: we do not share uploaded photos/text with any third party for processing or any other purpose.
  • Deleted after processing: we delete uploaded photos/text immediately after the requested processing is completed, except for brief technical handling that is promptly cleared.
  • User control: you decide whether to upload content and whether to generate results.

5) How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the App.
  • Personalize your experience and organize your coffee diary.
  • Improve reliability and performance (analytics, debugging, crash diagnosis).
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • Protect security and integrity and comply with legal obligations.

6) How we disclose information

We disclose information only as necessary and consistent with this policy:

  • With your consent.
  • Processors/service providers: trusted vendors under contract who process data on our behalf with confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Legal requirements: to comply with law, legal process, or government requests.
  • Protection: to protect rights, property, safety, and to prevent fraud/abuse.
  • Business transfers: in mergers/acquisitions/asset sales, subject to legal safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information.

7) International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

8) Security

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Retention

  • Account data: for the duration of your account.
  • After account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days unless longer retention is required by law.
  • Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
  • Support content: up to 6 months.
  • Optional upload processing content: deleted immediately after processing.

10) Your rights and choices

11) Children and age limit

The App is intended for users ages 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.

12) Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the App after updates become effective means you accept the updated policy.
